Most of the small company which they do not have internal IT person to enforce and monitor the Windows security feature. 

For example all workstations user login without PASSWORD. You will always get difficulties to access the share folder (even you have set EVERYONE FULL CONTROL) and get the below message from Windows.


NOTE: It is not advisable to set BLANK PASSWORD. Please be inform the person in charge about the insecure consequences before you take below actions.

There are 2 solutions presented below.

SOLUTION 1 :

1. Go to Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Local Security Policy.

2. Browse the Security Settings | Local Policies | Security Options... Look for "Accounts: Limit local account use of blank password to console logon only". See screenshot below.


3. Select Disabled and APPLY.



SOLUTION 2 :

1. Open the Network and Internet | Network and Sharing Center.

2. Click to Password protected sharing.

3. Select "Turn off password protected sharing" and APPLY.
